Cleveland Bail & Organizing Fund
We’ve seen in Ferguson, in Baltimore, in Chicago and other places that bailing people out quickly can add momentum to the movement. When people know they can get bailed out, they’re able express their grief and rage at the systemic assault on Black lives, get back out in the streets and continue to take action.
We expect that people will take bold non-violent action in Cleveland. One way all of us can support them is to chip-in to a bail fund to get them back out on the street.
We have a goal of raising a $5,000 fund for SURJ's organizing and to bail out brave activists who are arrested to bring justice.
